Overview
Master Data Management (MDM) Architect to develop product master data strategy by understanding business problems, understanding the existing/legacy solution, conducting market research and capturing detailed business requirements for product master data management technology/solution for a retailer.
The role will
- Develop processes, tools, and governance to effectively manage enterprise Product master data.
- Manage teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures.
- Strong experience in product master data enablement initiatives for the Retail industry.
- Expert level understanding of product lifecycle within Retail industry related business processes and technical solutions (TIBCO, Informatica, custom, IBM, etc).
- Manage full life cycle implementations of product data management and/or product information management (PIM) solutions.
- Lead workshops for client education and garnering requirements/guiding solution development.
- Assist and drive the team by providing oversight.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant master data management experience acting as a product management or product strategy and technical architecture.
- 4+ years of functional experience on MDM/PMDM/PIM technology projects to define and develop product data strategy, product specifications, positioning, and vision.
- Experience leading and managing product data roadmap project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle to evolve go to market readiness for ongoing success throughout product launches.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
