Overview
You are an experienced web and graphic designer who lives and breathes creative digital design.
You love the internet and create eye-popping visuals that engage consumers with brands and drive them to buy. You balance design with the understanding of HTML/CSS so you can manage your design flow from start to finish. You work well with others in an off-site role and want to work with a dynamic, exciting company where you can grow and contribute to the long-term value.
Responsibilities
• Effectively interpret project needs and translate them into compelling visual designs
• Design campaign assets that create emotional connections with consumers
• Provide fashion-focused art direction for consumer-facing marketing materials
• Contribute to the design of web interfaces using techniques based on usability theory and concepts related to creating visual flow
• Effectively communicate design direction and production details to other members of the team.
• Apply your deep understanding of typography, usability, storyboarding, and iconography when working on web projects
• Work within project schedules and tight deadlines
• Collaborate with other designers & business owners to ensure your designs are consistent with expectations and overall project goals
• Stay current on visual design techniques and technology to expand the company’s reputation as a leader in online retail
Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:
• A mind-blowing portfolio of your design work
• You are adept at relevant design software, particularly Adobe Creative Cloud products Photoshop, Illustrator
• Experience applying theories related to color schemes, use of space, text placement, usability, and visual flow
• Understands and can create content specification and design guidelines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
