Overview
Microsoft PowerBI Developer – Highering Talent works with customers across the nation to drive revenues through a better understanding of all aspects of their business using our Business Intelligence dashboards.
Highering Talent is looking for a team member who will work closely with the client to design reports and visualizations based on multiple data sources stored in a data warehouse. These reports will then be served up to a web application for dashboard representation.
As a Microsoft PowerBI Developer, you will work together with other technical resources to achieve project goals, resulting in more-than-satisfied customers
Project Scope/Tasks
- Experience in Data Analysis, understanding trends and patterns in data and create insights
- Excellent T-SQL skills, write complex queries, create views and Store procedures
- Ability to create an appealing visualization for derived datasets
- Strong Data Visualization Presentation and Techniques.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and analysis
- Experience in analyzing data across multiple dimensions, understanding cause, and effect relationships, and making recommendations to achieve desired outcomes
Minimum Qualifications
- Functions at the expert level designing, developing and implementing our products.
- Direct experience developing and testing reports and visualizations.
- Along with with the PowerBI, direct experience with Tableau a plus.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, writing, research, and personal computer skills
- Complete understanding of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Must be very self-directed with the ability to work independently.
- Strong sense of teamwork – an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Education and Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years plus experience in building reports and visualizations.
- Minimum 2 years plus experience in building complex Power BI dashboards
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
